News: Crystal Carol has been selected to be featured on HGTV’s “Art Across America” series. Crystal is one of only 18 artists from Kentucky region to receive this honor. She will paint a vibrant original elk hide painting for the show that will air this fall.

Crystal’s multimedia art is inspired by her horses. A native of the Great Plains she now resides with her personal herd of nearly a dozen horses in Henry County, Kentucky, the heart of the Bluegrass State. She is an accomplished equestrian and horse trainer whose work has been displayed in art galleries from Santa Fe to Louisville. When she’s not on the farm creating art work or working with her horses she’s on the road traveling to art shows through out the U.S.

Crystal’s next art exhibition will open on Thursday, November 30, at A Little Peace Café, 1860 Mellwood Avenue in the Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center, Louisville, Kentucky. Her work will be on display there until January 1, 2007.
